12 Who Is the Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Communication at Texas State?

WASHINGTON – Following a comprehensive national search, Howard University today proudly announces the appointment of Phylicia Rashad equally dean of the recently reestablished Higher of Fine Arts, effective July 1, 2021. In this role, she will report to Provost Anthony M. Wutoh. An alumna of Howard University, Rashad graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor'southward in fine arts.

An accomplished thespian and stage manager, Rashad became a household name when she portrayed Claire Huxtable on "The Cosby Bear witness," a character whose enduring appeal has earned her numerous honors and awards for over two decades.
